- Material over 0.500″ must be produced with 28″ ID
- Material 0.074″ – 0.500″ thick can be produced on either 24″ or 28″ ID
- Required MIN mill edge width adder:
- 0.074″ – 0.249″ = 1″ MIN
- 0.250″ – 0.750″ = 4x material thickness MIN

- Width tolerance is for total tolerance, the order must indicate whether Min, Max, or Nom
- NOTE: Heavy thickness slitting results in a beveled edge. The width shall be measured on the wide surface of the cut edge. Depending upon the angle of the cut edge bevel, the width of the narrow surface of the cut edge may be less than the minimum ordered width. Ferrous 85 must be consulted regarding any special requirements.

Material: HRC and HRP&O
Grades: All Grades producible by SDI – Sinton Mill
Mults: Although the slitting line is capable of slitting more than 12 mults per master coil, we do not wish to slit more than that per set-up at this time. Market conditions and customer demands of course may convince us otherwise.
Packaging: 1.25″ and/or 2″ banding will be used as required.
Tagging: AIAG tags will include bar coding, QR stickers will be added if required.
Loading: All mults ship in cylinder fashion. Any coil under 12″ in width will ship in racks as needed.
Transportation: We operate a 200 ton coil carrier truck for hauling and transporting coils to and from on-campus facilities. Additionally, a fleet of flatbed trucks is available for hauling off-campus loads as needed.
